Dog Days Are Over – Fan Made Birthday Video

Florence birthday event was the first and possibly one of the greatest actions we managed to organise and finalise. The action gathered fans from all around the world. Their task was to “sing” a part of a “Dog Days Are Over” song and to send us the recording so that in the end we could mend them all together into one video. 45 people participated in the project, including fans from Argentina, Mexico, the US, the UK, Ireland and many more. Poland was represented by 21 fans and it’s worth mentioning that at the time our fan club had less than 1000 members! The video was a tribute and a token of our gratitude to Florence Welch for her work and inspiration in the special day of her 26^th birthday. The project was introduced to the world on 25th August 2012 and was immediately met with great interest and support. The movie was mentioned in Polish Radio 3 and EskaROCK radio station. What is more, it was Florence herself who crowned the event with her watching the video on 28^th August.
